Tangerine is one of the related varieties of oranges. This citrus orange, which has botanical name  Citrus tangerina is widely known for its close relation to mandarin orange. The name of tangerines comes from Tangier, Morocco. But, this fruit is originated in South Eastern forests of China and nowadays, it is widely grown in most part of the world.
